Today, Maggie and I went to the zoo with a friend from high school/elementary school and her two kids. It was so nice being around a real mom and real kids. We had a great time, walked most of the zoo - some of it was a speed walk. It was fun to talk to an adult and her little girl and Maggie seemed to get along pretty well.
I am so glad that through Facebook I have been able to reconnect with friends from the past. We have children around the same age so it gives us another thing in common.
